Lucknow News INA.

In a coordinated response, several cabinet ministers of the Yogi Adityanath government, including Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, criticized Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav for his comments on the recent Sultanpur robbery case.

The ministers challenged Yadav's stance, asserting that "a criminal has no caste" and questioned how the SP leader could defend someone involved in criminal activities.

They remanded clarification from Akhilesh Yadav over his position, asking, "Was Mangesh a criminal or not? How can you hold a press conference in support of a criminal?"

Meanwhile, the Bullion Association has commended the Uttar Pradesh Police, under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, for the revelation of Sultanpur robbery case, further bolstering the government's stand on law and order.

SP sides with criminals, not victims: Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak...

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak accused the Samajwadi Party (SP) of siding with criminals instead of victims. He emphasized that since the BJP government took over in Uttar Pradesh, law and order has tightened, and criminals are now on the back foot.

Referring to the recent broad daylight robbery at a jeweler's house in Sultanpur, he claimed that opposition parties, including SP, are working to shield the culprits.

The Deputy CM highlighted that the government has conducted a thorough investigation into the Sultanpur incident, gathering facts, extracting CCTV footage, and tracking the mobile locations of suspects. The government swiftly identified and acted against those involved.

He criticized the SP for consistently supporting criminals, pointing out that SP leader Akhilesh Yadav did not speak a word in support of the jeweler’s family, and instead stood with the accused.

He also mentioned that the police arrested the suspects and recovered more than 2.5 kg of stolen gold. He condemned the SP for supporting the criminal based on caste after his encounter with the police, stating that the BJP government views criminals simply as criminals, regardless of their caste.

“Our government's commitment is that a criminal is a criminal and does not belong to any caste. People from all communities are associated with us,” he said.

The Deputy CM stated that the public is well aware that whenever the Samajwadi Party (SP) has been in power, it has enabled the rise of criminals. He recalled an incident during the SP rule when goons from the Lohia Vahini paraded an area officer from Hazratganj on a jeep's bonnet, which was then driven into the SSP Lucknow's bungalow. To this day, Pathak questioned, how many have been held accountable for that act?

He also reminded people of the Jawahar Bagh incidents in Badaun and Mathura, where police officers lost their lives, and the Muzaffarnagar riots, where many innocents, including women, were harmed. He demanded that the Samajwadi Party answer for the lives lost and the violence that occurred during their rule.

Criminals have no caste: Sanjay Nishad...

Cabinet Minister Sanjay Nishad criticized opposition leaders for making misleading statements about the Sultanpur encounter, emphasizing that a criminal has no caste. He pointed out that even during Akhilesh Yadav's government, members of the Nishad community, like Akhilesh Nishad, were killed.

He highlighted Ayodhya's significance for the fishing community and questioned how those who fired shots in Ayodhya could truly understand its development. He asserted that speaking about Ayodhya is also speaking about the Nishad community. He further noted that while Uttar Pradesh was once considered a "BIMARU” state, it has now become the capital of development.

Yogi government doesn’t operate on caste lines: Dara Singh Chauhan...

Prison Minister Dara Singh Chauhan said that the Yogi government does not work on the basis of caste. He praised the Uttar Pradesh Police for fairly uncovering the Sultanpur robbery case and questioned how Akhilesh Yadav could hold a press conference in defense of a criminal when the state's law and order is being widely appreciated. He criticized Yadav’s recent comments on the Ayodhya issue, calling them misleading. He also remarked that while Akhilesh Yadav may have won the Lok Sabha elections by spreading falsehoods, such tactics won't work repeatedly.

Why does Akhilesh stay silent when policemen are martyred?, asks Om Prakash Rajbhar...

Panchayati Raj Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar questioned why Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav remains silent when policemen are martyred in the line of duty. He noted that while the Bullion Association has praised the police for solving the Sultanpur robbery, Yadav should clarify whether the accused was a criminal or not. He also criticized Yadav for not speaking out when policemen lose their lives in the line of duty.

Rajbhar also accused the SP of distancing itself from Congress and suggested that Akhilesh Yadav is now looking for his supporters among criminals and robbers. He pointed out that the SP has a history of giving election tickets to criminals and making them leaders.
