Lucknow News: With the historic success of Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4), conducted by Axiom Space, a wave of pride and excitement has swept across the nation, especially in Uttar Pradesh, following the triumphant return of Lucknow’s son, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, and his team.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Indian pilot via the social media platform X, calling the achievement a moment of immense pride for both Uttar Pradesh and the entire country.
“Hearty congratulations to Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla and his team on their successful return after completing the landmark Axiom Mission 4. A native of Lucknow, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla has had a distinguished career in the Indian Air Force. Now, he has brought further glory to the country by contributing to the field of space exploration. His participation in the Ax-4 mission has elevated India’s and Uttar Pradesh’s prestige on the global stage.
The Axiom Space mission series represents a significant advancement in commercial human spaceflight, featuring international scientists, pilots, and trained astronauts. Group Captain Shukla’s selection for this mission was regarded as a major milestone. During the mission, the team conducted several advanced scientific experiments and technical assessments aboard the International Space Station, showcasing India’s growing expertise and active participation in cutting-edge space research.
