Greater Noida: UPITS 2024: Entrepreneurs praise Yogi government's initiatives
Orders from international buyers are turning dreams into reality...
- The B2B program is emerging as an excellent platform for this transformation
Greater Noida: The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show at the India Expo Center Mart in Greater Noida is transforming the dreams of entrepreneurs into reality by showcasing their products to international audiences. While buyers are visiting the stalls, the B2B program being organized at the event is proving especially effective in connecting businesses with international buyers.
This initiative has sparked enthusiasm among young entrepreneurs, who are optimistic about securing more foreign orders in the near future, offering their products valuable global exposure.
Chetan Khandelwal, founder of Divine Copper from Vrindavan, is thrilled about the buyer-seller meet at the trade show. He shared that, in the past, businesses had to actively search for buyers, but this time, the event’s organization is making it easier to connect with them. “We don’t need to search for buyers anymore,” he said.
"Last year, my company received orders from three countries, and this year, I have already secured one from Australia," he said. Khandelwal praised the Yogi government’s startup promotion initiatives, which have played a key role in facilitating such opportunities.
Deepak Pandey, Managing Director of Mother Nature Herbal Apparels from Hapur, is equally excited about attracting buyers from countries like Cuba, the United Kingdom, Spain, Turkey, and Zimbabwe.
He credits the success to the Yogi government’s initiatives, which have made it easier to connect with international buyers through the B2B programs.
Pandey highlighted that his product, a completely herbal-based apparel line, has generated significant interest among buyers. He proudly noted that his apricot product is unique in the world, offering benefits for both the environment and the skin.
Ruchi Khanna, head of Kanpur-based Ras Biosolution, shared that their business has been running for 15 years, with exports beginning just two years ago. Initially, they found only one or two buyers online, but this platform has connected them with buyers from several countries, which is very encouraging. Over the last three days, they’ve secured buyers from Vietnam, Uganda, and Australia, among others.
Company head Satyam Khanna added that the response from all these countries has been very positive, and credited this success to the Yogi government's initiative.
Mohammad Shahrukh, head of Shan Impex in Moradabad, mentioned that this is the second time they’ve participated in the trade show. They have already secured an order from Somalia, with more international orders in the pipeline. Shahrukh emphasized that his products are gaining international exposure due to the Yogi government’s initiative, which is a matter of great pride for him.
