Mainpuri: In a sharp critique of the Samajwadi Party in their Karhal stronghold, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated on Tuesday that anarchy and hooliganism are ingrained in their DNA. According to him, their model of governance is about looting money meant for development rather than development itself.

He added, "You must have witnessed their ‘misdeeds’. What a Samajwadi Party leader did to a Nishad daughter in Ayodhya reflects their true character. If you want to see their real intentions, look no further than the incident in Kannauj and the 'Nawab brand'—this is their real face."

The Chief Minister made these remarks during the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony for projects worth Rs 375 crore in the Karhal assembly constituency of Mainpuri.

In addition to distributing mobile phones and laptops to the youth and cheques to women self-help groups, he urged the people of Mainpuri to move beyond caste politics and actively support nation-building and development initiatives.

Taking a strong stance against the Samajwadi Party, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath questioned, “Why has Mainpuri, once regarded as a VVIP district, continued to lag in development?”

Highlighting Mainpuri's rich heritage, he stated, “This is the land of great sages like Mayan, Markandeya, and Chyavan, and is associated with the heroes and freedom fighters of our independence struggle. So, who are these people creating an identity crisis for Mainpuri? They are the same people who have not only caused an identity crisis but have also caused an existential threat to the state by undermining its social fabric.”

The Chief Minister congratulated the people of Mainpuri, particularly Karhal, for witnessing the inauguration and foundation stone laying of projects worth Rs 375 crores. He noted, “Today, many development projects have been introduced in the Karhal assembly constituency, including those related to roads, schools, and drinking water.”

He further added, “Under these projects, a village stadium will also be built, and the foundation stone for a new fire station is being laid today. I congratulate the people of Mainpuri district, especially those in Karhal, for all the development initiatives being inaugurated or started today. It was also my pleasure to distribute tablets and laptops to many youth present on this stage.”

He continued, mentioning that just a week ago, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak visited the same venue to launch a significant employment fair and tablet distribution program in Karhal. “Thousands of people gained employment, and loans were given to many youths to set up enterprises, along with the distribution of smartphones and tablets,” he said.

Criticizing the Samajwadi Party, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated, "I have come here to tell you that they first tore apart the social fabric, plunged the state into riots, and looted funds that should have been dedicated to development and the welfare of the poor. They stole jobs meant for the youth. Meanwhile, we are set to issue appointment letters for jobs to a thousand young people just tomorrow."

He further emphasized that recently, over sixty thousand two hundred candidates appeared for the written examination under the police constable recruitment process. "This was the largest civil police recruitment examination not only in the country but in the world. Despite this scale, there were no complaints, no discrimination, and no corruption. Was this the case before 2017?" he asked.

Stating that before 2017, every job was sold and auctioned, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remarked, "The 'Chacha-Bhatija' duo (uncle and nephew) were equal partners in extortion. Later, when there was more money to be made, the uncle was sidelined, and the nephew ran away alone with the booty. This was the situation across the entire state, with looting rampant in the name of development."

He continued, "They were not concerned about Mainpuri; they were only concerned about themselves. They had no regard for the state, which is why, when they felt that Uttar Pradesh was no longer safe for them, they began buying islands in different countries around the world. But we, along with you, have to live here in this state."

Taking a jab at Shivpal Singh Yadav, he said, "‘Inki toh niyati he hai dhakka kha kar wahin pade rehna’ (it is their destiny to get pushed and remain there). However, the people of Uttar Pradesh do not need to endure such humiliation. They must rise, regain their strength, and learn to fight with dignity by aligning with the nationalist mission. That is why I am here with the gift of development projects worth Rs. 375 crores. Today, there are no riots in the state, no hooliganism, no daughters being abducted, no farmer's land being encroached upon, and no businessman being kidnapped."

Yogi Adityanath further stated that Uttar Pradesh, with its population of 25 crores, is shedding its BIMARU status and moving toward becoming a developed state. "This transformation is positioning UP as a state of unlimited potential. Today, Uttar Pradesh is setting an example in development, security, and startups."

He added, "In the last seven and a half years, with your support and under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, we have provided government jobs to six and a half lakh people. Over two crore youth have been given employment opportunities in the private sector. We have also worked to establish startups and enterprises for more than sixty lakh entrepreneurs and young people."

Reflecting on the state of Uttar Pradesh before 2017, Yogi Adityanath said, “Previously, there was no conducive environment for investment in Uttar Pradesh. If the safety of daughters was not assured, how could the safety of capital be guaranteed? But today, daughters are safe, and so is the capital. Farmers who provide food are respected, women are empowered, and the youth are also receiving due respect.”

CM Yogi emphasized that the government stands with the people, and there is no need to be divided on the basis of caste. "The state has transformed. Before 2017, when people from Mainpuri traveled outside UP, they were looked upon with suspicion. Forget about hotels, they were not even able to get rooms in Dharamshalas. But today, there is no identity crisis. The BJP’s double-engine government has delivered on its promises."

"We promised to make the state a dream destination for investment, and today, we have secured investments worth rs 40 lakh crores. The state’s highways, expressways, and excellent air connectivity are clear examples of our commitment. We said we would make Uttar Pradesh the leading economy in the country, and from the 7th position in 2017, we have made it the second-largest economy. Our goal is to make it number one in the next three to four years."

He added, "We honor faith, and today, the magnificent temple of Ramlala in Ayodhya Dham and Kashi Vishwanath Dham is gaining global recognition. Development work is also progressing in Mathura and Vrindavan. Under the rule of those who claim to be ‘Yaduvanshi,’ even celebrating the ‘janmotsav’ of Shri Krishna was prohibited. We paved the way for celebrating it with grandeur, even in jails and police lines."

In the program, Tourism and Culture Minister of the State Government Jaiveer Singh, Minister of Higher Education Department Yogendra Upadhyay, State Minister of IT and Electronics Department Ajit Pal, Regional President of Bharatiya Janata Party Durvijay Singh Shakya, State Vice President and Legislative Council Member Santosh Singh, State Vice President Braj Bahadur, MLA Ram Naresh Agnihotri, BJP District President Rahul Chaturvedi, Chairman Textile Prem Singh Shakya, District Panchayat President Archana Govind Bhadoria, former MP Raghuraj Singh Shakya, former MLA Narendra Singh, representative of former District Panchayat President Anuj Pratap Singh, former District President Arvind Tomar, Shivdutt Bhadoria, Pradeep Singh Chauhan, Chairman of Barnaul Shashi Yogendra Gupta, Mamat Rajput, Satyapal Yadav and others were present.
