Amidst the massive crowd, the Bhula- Bhatka camps played a crucial role in reuniting separated families and ensuring peace of mind for devotees.
Announcements resonated across the ghats, with messages like, “Shivam and Yuvraj, residents of Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, please reach the Bhula-Bhatka camp. Shyam Sharma is waiting for you here. Ask the nearest policeman for directions and reach the camp.” Similarly, calls like, “Pinky’s mother, please reach bridge number one. To assist devotees participating in the grand Mahakumbh, the fair administration has set up Bhula Bhatka camps, including separate sections for lost women and children. These camps have proven highly effective in aiding those who were separated during the crowd surge on Paush Purnima.
Throughout the day, loudspeakers placed along the ghats broadcast continuous announcements, ensuring the messages reached far and wide with clarity. By listening to these announcements, people are able to reach their loved ones immediately. Additionally, the police force stationed at the ghats is actively assisting attendees.
On the first bathing festival of Mahakumbh, the grand celebration of social unity, a massive number of devotees from across the country and the world gathered at the sacred Sangam to take a holy dip. The spiritual and cultural magnificence of the divine and well-organized Mahkumbh left the pilgrims overwhelmed with awe and devotion.
Given the scale of the event, occasional instances of devotees getting separated from their families are common. To address this, the fair administration has implemented efficient measures directly at the ghats, ensuring swift reunions.
