In a remarkable initiative led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Prayagraj is being transformed into a vibrant tapestry of religion, culture, and faith in preparation for the upcoming Mahakumbh-2025. The city's walls are coming alive with artistic expressions, as local and national artists work tirelessly to create stunning murals and symbols that celebrate Sanatan Dharma.

This spans an impressive area of over 10 lakh square feet, allowing for a breathtaking showcase of artistic talent. Day and night, artisans are diligently carving intricate designs that reflect the rich spiritual heritage of the region. As the countdown to Mahakumbh-2025 begins, Prayagraj is poised to offer a visual feast that encapsulates the essence of devotion and cultural significance.

Archana Jadhav and her team of 70 people are hard at work creating beautiful wall paintings day and night. Archana arrived in Prayagraj during the first week of October and expressed her gratitude to CM Yogi for this divine and innovative project.

Her team is focused on various art forms, including mural painting, 3D art, and Madhubani art. Notably, they are also painting 108 dancing postures of Nataraja on the walls.

Archana shared that the entire Ramayana is being illustrated, featuring scenes of Lord Ram, Mata Sita, and Hanuman. Alongside Fine Arts students, some deaf and mute youth are also participating in this creative endeavor.

The team is dedicated to promoting Sanatan culture through their artwork, and Archana aims to complete the paintings by the end of November.

In addition to local artists, students from Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Banaras, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh are joining Archana’s team, and everyone involved receives fair remuneration for their contributions.

Amit Darastwar from Pune is leading a team of 10 artists as they paint symbols of Sanatan culture on the walls of the Maha Kumbh Mela area. Their focus is on creating realistic depictions of Ganga Mata, animals, sadhus, musical instruments, and various Hindu symbols.

Amit’s team has already completed stunning paintings on the walls of the Mela Authority office, with scenes from the Samudra Manthan and representations of the Sapt Rishi being painted on flyovers and pillars as well.

Regarding the longevity of these artworks, Archana Jadhav mentioned that the paintings can last for two years in their original form, provided they are not damaged. However, with proper maintenance, they could remain intact for up to five years.

Young artists like Archana, Amit, Anamika, Subhashna, and Neha are all enthusiastic about this initiative from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

They believe that when devotees from around the world arrive for the Maha Kumbh, they will express their gratitude to Yogi ji upon seeing the vibrant symbols related to Sanatan culture, including scenes from the Ramayana, representations of Lord Ram, Shri Krishna, Bholenath, and other elements of Hindu religion.

In 2019, during the Ardh Kumbh, a remarkable initiative led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath brought together thousands of students, citizens, and painters to create a vibrant mural themed 'Jai Gange.'

Over the course of eight continuous hours, participants left their colorful handprints on the painting wall, resulting in a stunning piece of art that made its way into the Guinness Book of Records.
